Tips:

  • Choose the right chicken. Bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs or breasts are best for barbecue, as they will stay moist and flavorful.
  • Make sure your grill is clean and well-oiled. This will help prevent the chicken from sticking and burning.
  • Season the chicken generously with your favorite BBQ rub. Be sure to get all sides of the chicken.
  • Cook the chicken over indirect heat. This means that the chicken should not be directly over the coals or flames. Indirect heat will help the chicken cook evenly and prevent it from burning.
  • Cook the chicken until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit. You can check the temperature with a meat thermometer.
  • Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving. This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the chicken, making it more tender and flavorful.

Conclusion:

Barbecue chicken is a delicious and versatile dish that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. With a little planning and preparation, you can easily make barbecue chicken at home that is just as good as anything you would get from a restaurant. So fire up your grill and give this recipe a try! You won't be disappointed.
