Steps:
- Slice through the top 1/3 of each egg, ensuring some of the yolk is included in the slice. Carefully remove the egg yolk from the bottom portion of the egg using a spoon and transfer to a bowl.
- Mix egg yolks, mayonnaise, mustard, pickle, horseradish, pickle juice, salt, and pepper together in a bowl. Fill a piping bag or a plastic bag with a corner snipped with the egg yolk mixture. Pipe egg yolk mixture into the hollowed egg whites creating the 'chick', ensuring there is enough filling to add 'eyes' and a 'beak.'
- Slice small wedges out of the carrot rounds creating 12 'beaks'. Add a 'beak' to each 'chick'.
- Slice olive pieces into small squares to be used as 'eyes.' Add 2 'eyes' to each 'chick.' Place the egg tops onto each 'chick' to look like a chick peaking out of the egg.

EASTER DEVILED EGGS RECIPE - (4.4/5)

Steps:
- Remove the shells from the hard boiled eggs and slice each egg in half. Remove the yolks from the egg halves and place in a bowl. Set the yolks aside. Get enough glasses or mugs for the number of colors you want to use. Fill the mugs or glasses 2/3 of the way full with cold water. Add 3 drops of desired food coloring along with 1 teaspoon vinegar to each mug or cup. Place egg whites in the mugs and allow to sit in the food coloring until desired color is reached. I could fit 3 egg whites in each of my mugs at a time. Remove whites from dye and drain on a plate lined with a couple of paper towels. Take the reserved yolks and mash them with a fork. Then mix the rest of the ingredients with the mashed yolk. Pipe or spoon the yolk mix into the colored egg whites.
EASTER DEVILED EGGS
Bring on the eggs. One Easter tradition at our house usually includes dying the shell of hard boiled eggs, but why not dye the eggs out of their shell this year? It can be done and is a fun way to include deviled eggs, another Easter tradition, on your Easter menu.

WICK'S EASTER DEVILED EGGS
These step you outside the normal boundaries of deviled eggs with a surprise ingredient - potato chips! This was my Dad's (Wick Brandon) recipe - he got the recipe from a box of potato chips in the 70's. There are NEVER leftovers, and Easter would not be the same without them. Enjoy! Viclynn

Steps:
- 1. Cut the eggs in half, lengthwise and scoop out yolks to a large bowl.
- 2. Mix in mayonnaise, potato chips, bacon and parsley. (Note that the potato chips will absorb some of the moisture, so I have noted 2-4 tbs. of mayo. I usually use more than less).
- 3. Stuff egg whites with yolk mixture.
- 4. Sprinkle with paprika and pepper.
- (Refrain from adding salt, as the salt on the potato chips adds flavor).

- Note: Feel free to use the ingredients in different amounts depending on taste or desired consistency. We often like more pickle and horseradish.

EASTER THEMED DEVILED EGGS RECIPE - (4.7/5)

Steps:
- Put eggs in a pot of cold water. Turn stove on high (turn down heat to medium once water starts to boil). Cook for a total of 23 minutes. Combine miracle whip, sugar, mustard, vinegar, salt and pepper in bowl. Put food coloring in mugs and make your own colors. Empty hot water out of pot and fill with cold water and let eggs cool down for several minutes. Peel shell off of eggs and cut in half. With a spoon, remove cooked yolk from eggs and put in bowl with mixture. Blend with hand mixer until smooth. Take cooked egg whites and place in mug with spoon. Allow to sit in mug for 30 seconds or more. Remove egg with spoon and place on paper towel to remove excess food coloring. Place dried egg on tray. Spoon yolk mixture into each egg. Sprinkle top with paprika. Allow to cool in fridge for 2 hours.
Tips:
- Use the freshest eggs possible. Older eggs will not peel as easily and the yolks will be more difficult to mash.
- Hard-boil the eggs perfectly. Overcooked eggs will be dry and crumbly, while undercooked eggs will be runny and unsafe to eat. To ensure perfectly cooked eggs, place them in a single layer in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring the water to a boil, then cover the pan and remove it from the heat. Let the eggs stand in the hot water for 10-12 minutes, depending on how hard you want them to be. Immediately transfer the eggs to an ice bath to stop the cooking process.
- Peel the eggs carefully. To make peeling the eggs easier, crack the shells all over by gently tapping them on a hard surface. Then, roll the eggs between your hands to loosen the shells. Start peeling from the large end of the egg, where the air pocket is.
- Use a sharp knife to cut the eggs in half. This will help to prevent the yolks from breaking.
- Mash the yolks until they are smooth and creamy. You can use a fork, a potato masher, or a food processor to do this.
- Season the yolks with your favorite ingredients. Some popular options include mayonnaise, mustard, celery, onion, and paprika. You can also add herbs, spices, or other flavorings to taste.
- Garnish the deviled eggs with your favorite toppings. Some popular options include paprika, chopped parsley, chives, or bacon bits.
Conclusion:
Deviled eggs are a classic Easter appetizer that is easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can create a delicious and festive dish that will be the star of your Easter table. So get creative and have fun with your deviled eggs this year!
