1 lb ground beef
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can corn
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can green beans
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can carrots
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can mixed vegetables
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can green peas
1 (15 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
4 beef bouillon cubes
3 -4 medium potatoes, peeled and chopped
2 -3 garlic cloves, diced
water

Steps:

  • Place ground beef and garlic into your big cooking pot while you are opening veggies, this will give it time to brown.
  • Place canned veggies into pot, do not drain. You need their liquid.
  • Cut up potatoes and unwrap bouillon cubes, add to the mix.
  • Add enough water to fill the pot. It usually is not a lot of water because of the canned vegetables.
  • Cook 3-4 hours.
  • Serve. Some like cheese over their soup.
  • Note: You can use frozen or fresh vegetables. I always double my recipe because it just does not seem to be enough, but we will eat it for leftovers. If you do not like some of these vegetables you add what you do like.

2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans whole kernel corn
2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans black beans
2 taco seasoning mix
2 (1 ounce) packages dry hidden valley ranch dressing mix
1 -2 cup hot water

Steps:

  • Brown ground beef and drain.
  • Add remaining ingredients, including all liquid (use your judgment on water depending how soupy you want it).

This is the recipe I came up with. My son named it for me....now years later still making it and the taste is just as good. Soups...

3 can(s) mixed vegetables
2 can(s) sliced potatoes (drain)
2 can(s) green beans
1 can(s) corn (drain)
1 can(s) butter beans (drain)
1 large can of dice tomatoes
1 small can of small dice tomatoes
1 large can of campbell's vegetable beef soup
1 small can of campbell's vegetable beef soup
1 beef bouillon, cube
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • 1. In large crock pot dump all cans of the vegetables first. Please drain only the ones listed. Stir in diced tomatoes. Stir in the vegetable soups. Drop in bouillon cube. Salt and pepper to taste. Add a little more water if you need to. Cook on high for 1 hour. Turn on low for last 3 hours. Delicious!
  • 2. This is a soup that you can add to, take away....just play with it. What is fun about it? All you had to do was open and dump. How simple is that? Leaves more time for "Me" time. And remember the children can help make it too....it is that simple and easy!

DUMP EVERTHING IN A MEDIUM TO LARGE POT
1 can(s) tomatoes, crushed with liquid
2 chicken bouillon cubes(desolved in 1 cup water
3 Tbsp tomato paste
1 can(s) mixed vegetables, drained
1 can(s) sweet corn
3 large potato
1 small can sweet peas
1/2 pkg hot dogs (4-5) chopped in circles
1/2 okra fresh or frozen sliced
1/2 small onion
1 stick butter
1 c water, as needed
salt and pepper to your taste
OVER STIRING WILL CAUSE OKRA TO BE SLIMY

Steps:

  • 1. Dump in pot
  • 2. bring to a boil and stir

3 can(s) mixed vegetables
1/2 lb noodles
1 can(s) tomatoes, undrained and cut up

Steps:

  • 1. Dump the water in a large pot.
  • 2. Bring to a boil; add bouillon cubes, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, parsley, onion and basil.
  • 3. Drop ground beef into pot in small pieces.
  • 4. Simmer for 10 minutes on medium heat.
  • 5. Add the vegetables, mushrooms, tomatoes and the noodles or rice.
  • 6. You can also use up the small bowls of vegetables leftover in your refrigerator.
  • 7. Add more water if necessary.
