BBQ COKE CHICKEN
This is a really quick and easy weeknight meal. I made this on the stovetop on medium heat. The trick is not to peek at it and just let it sit for 30 minutes with a tight lid. The chicken turns out really tender and juicy.

COKE CHICKEN
Growing up in South Africa, this was one of my family's favorite chicken recipes. I haven't searched for it here, so I don't know if it has already been posted.

Steps:
- Place everything in a wide-bottomed pot.
- Cook over low heat until chicken is tender.
- Cook until coke is nearly gone; take care to watch it.
- Remove from heat when coke becomes a sticky sauce.
Tips:
- For a more flavorful dish, use a good quality BBQ sauce. You can also add a little bit of brown sugar or honey to the sauce for a sweeter flavor.
- If you don't have a slow cooker, you can cook the chicken in a Dutch oven on the stovetop over low heat for 8-10 hours.
- Serve the chicken with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, green beans, or coleslaw.
- You can also use this recipe to make pulled pork or beef. Just substitute the chicken with pork or beef roast.
- If you want to make the dish ahead of time, cook the chicken according to the recipe and then let it cool completely. Store the chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or in the freezer for up to 3 months. When you're ready to serve, reheat the chicken in the slow cooker on low heat until warmed through.
Conclusion:
Dump Coke BBQ Chicken is an easy and delicious recipe that is perfect for a busy weeknight meal. It's also a great recipe to make ahead of time for parties or potlucks. The chicken is fall-off-the-bone tender and the BBQ sauce is perfectly tangy and sweet. Serve it with your favorite sides for a complete meal that everyone will love.
