DULCE DE LECHE POPCORN BALLS
I found this recipe after Christmas while starting on collecting recipes for next year. It comes from the Jolly Time Popcorn folks. I wanted to try them the night I found it, but didn't have the butterscotch pudding. So, when I do get around to making them, I'll make any changes to the recipe that I think it needs. If you try it before me, please submit a review and let me know how they turned out. I'm anxious to try them!

Tips:
- Use fresh popcorn for the best results. Stale popcorn will not hold the dulce de leche mixture well and will be more likely to crumble.
- Make sure the dulce de leche is at room temperature before mixing it with the popcorn. This will help it to evenly coat the popcorn and prevent it from becoming too clumpy.
- If the dulce de leche mixture is too thick, you can add a little bit of milk or cream to thin it out. However, be careful not to add too much liquid, or the popcorn balls will become too soft.
- Be sure to grease your hands before shaping the popcorn balls. This will help to prevent the mixture from sticking to your hands.
- If you are having trouble shaping the popcorn balls, you can use a small cookie scoop to help you. Simply scoop up a portion of the mixture and then roll it into a ball.
- The popcorn balls can be rolled in various toppings, such as chopped nuts, sprinkles, or mini chocolate chips. This is a great way to add some extra flavor and texture to the popcorn balls.
- The popcorn balls can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
Conclusion:
Dulce de leche popcorn balls are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. They are a great way to use up leftover popcorn, and they are also a fun and festive treat to share with friends and family. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a delicious treat that everyone will love.
