1 cinnamon stick, broken in half
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice

Tips:

  • Use fresh, ripe cranberries for the best flavor. If you can't find fresh cranberries, you can use frozen cranberries, but be sure to thaw them before using.
  • If you don't have dried cherries, you can use other dried fruits, such as raisins, currants, or apricots.
  • You can adjust the amount of sugar in the sauce to your liking. If you like a sweeter sauce, add more sugar. If you prefer a less sweet sauce, reduce the amount of sugar.
  • If you want a thicker sauce, you can cook it for longer. However, be careful not to overcook the sauce, or it will become too thick and sticky.
  • You can serve the sauce warm or cold. If you're serving it warm, be sure to reheat it gently over low heat.

Conclusion:

Dried Cherry Cranberry Sauce is a delicious and versatile sauce that can be enjoyed with a variety of dishes. Serve it over roasted turkey, chicken, or pork, or use it as a topping for pancakes, waffles, or French toast. You can also enjoy it on its own as a snack or dessert.
