3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
3 cups sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
5 eggs
3 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup corn syrup
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350. Grease and flour 10 inch tube pan.
  • In large mixing bowl, combine butter, peanut butter, sugar, and vanilla; beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

  • Cool in pan 15 minutes on wire rack. Remove from pan. Cool completely on wire rack. Drizzle cake with Peanut Butter Frosting.
  • Frosting (Sometimes I make only half of this as it makes a LOT):.
  • In sauce pan over low heat, melt 1/2 cup each of peanut butter and corn syrup. Stir in 2 cups powdered sugar, 1 T. milk, and 1 t. vanilla; mix until smooth.

Tips:

  • Follow the steps accurately: Baking requires precision, so be sure to measure ingredients correctly and follow the instructions step by step.
  • Use top-notch ingredients: Fresh, quality ingredients contribute to the cake's overall flavor and texture. Opt for high-quality peanut butter, granulated sugar, and unsalted butter for the best results.
  • Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy: This step incorporates air into the mixture, resulting in a more tender and voluminous cake.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing can lead to a tough, dense cake. Mix just until the ingredients are well combined.
  • Bake the cake at the right temperature: The oven temperature and baking time are crucial for achieving the perfect doneness. Use an oven thermometer to ensure accurate temperature, and avoid opening the oven door during baking to prevent the cake from falling.
  • Let the cake cool completely before frosting: This allows the cake to set properly and prevents the frosting from melting.

With its moist, fluffy texture, rich peanut butter flavor, and decadent chocolate ganache frosting, this Double Peanut Butter Cake is an absolute delight for peanut butter enthusiasts. By following the detailed instructions and applying the provided tips, you can recreate this delectable dessert in the comfort of your own kitchen.
