3 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 cups sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups cooking oil
1 8 oz. can crushed pineapple
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
2 cups mashed bananas (very ripe)

Tips:

  • Use ripe bananas for the best flavor and texture. Overripe bananas will yield a sweeter cake.
  • Creaming the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy is essential for a tender cake.
  • Be sure to measure your flour correctly. Too much flour can make the cake dry and dense.
  • Do not overmix the batter. Overmixing can result in a tough cake.
