Provided by Bobby Flay

Categories     side-dish

Time 30m

Yield 12 servings

Number Of Ingredients 4

12 ears corn, silks removed, husks left on, and soaked in cold water for 20 minutes
1/2 pound unsalted butter, slightly softened
1/2 cup chopped fresh dill
Salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Heat grill to high. Remove corn from water and place on the grill. Close cover and grill until just cooked through, about 20 minutes. While corn is grilling, combine butter and dill in a food processor until smooth. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Remove husk and slather with dill butter.

Tips:

  • Choose the right corn. Look for ears of corn that are fresh and have a bright green husk. Avoid corn that is dry or has brown spots.
  • Prepare the corn properly. Remove the husks and silks from the corn. If desired, you can also cut the kernels off the cob.
  • Use fresh dill. Fresh dill has a much more intense flavor than dried dill. If you can't find fresh dill, you can use 1 teaspoon of dried dill instead.
  • Don't overcook the corn. Corn is best when it is cooked just until tender. Overcooked corn will be tough and chewy.
  • Season the corn to taste. Add salt and pepper to taste. You can also add other seasonings, such as garlic powder, onion powder, or cayenne pepper.
  • Serve the corn immediately. Corn is best when served hot and fresh. You can serve it on its own, or you can use it as a side dish with grilled meats or fish.

Conclusion:

Dilly corn is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for summer gatherings. With its fresh, bright flavor, dilly corn is sure to be a hit with everyone at your table. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy side dish, give dilly corn a try. You won't be disappointed!
