Tips:

  • Choose the right type of Dijon mustard. There are many different types of Dijon mustard available, each with its unique flavor profile. For this marinade, you will want to use a whole-grain Dijon mustard. This type of mustard has a more robust flavor than smooth Dijon mustard and will add more depth to the marinade.
  • Use fresh herbs. Fresh herbs will add a bright, vibrant flavor to the marinade. If you don't have fresh herbs on hand, you can use dried herbs, but be sure to use half the amount called for in the recipe.
  • Don't over-marinate the fish. Over-marinating the fish can make it tough and dry. For best results, marinate the fish for no more than 30 minutes.
  • Cook the fish over medium-high heat. This will help to create a nice sear on the outside of the fish while keeping the inside moist and tender.
  • Serve the fish immediately. Grilled fish is best served hot off the grill. If you need to keep the fish warm before serving, you can place it in a warm oven.

Conclusion:

This Dijon mustard marinade is a quick and easy way to add flavor to grilled fish. The marinade is made with a few simple ingredients that you probably already have on hand. It is also very versatile and can be used with different types of fish. So next time you're grilling fish, give this marinade a try. You won't be disappointed!
