Tips:

  • For a crispy chicken cutlet, make sure to pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness before cooking. This will help them cook evenly and prevent them from drying out.
  • To get a nice golden brown crust on the chicken cutlets, make sure to sear them in a hot skillet over medium-high heat. Don't overcrowd the skillet, or the chicken will steam instead of sear.
  • If you don't have Dijon mustard on hand, you can substitute yellow mustard or grainy mustard. However, Dijon mustard has a sharper, more complex flavor that will really elevate the salad.
  • Use a good quality Parmesan cheese for the dressing. Freshly grated Parmesan will give you the best flavor.
  • If you're short on time, you can use store-bought croutons for the salad. However, homemade croutons are easy to make and add a delicious touch.

Conclusion:

This Dijon chicken Caesar salad is a delicious and easy-to-make meal that's perfect for a weeknight dinner or a light lunch. The crispy chicken cutlets are coated in a flavorful Dijon mustard sauce, and the salad is tossed with a creamy Caesar dressing. The combination of flavors and textures is sure to please everyone at the table.
