1 Tbsp seasoned salt
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper, more if you like
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp paprika

  • 3. Heat oil in deep fryer to 375 degrees. deep fry wings in batches until golden brown. About 8 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Tips:

  • Choosing the right chicken wings is crucial for crispy and juicy results. Opt for fresh, plump wings with intact skin and no signs of bruising or discoloration.
  • For a flavorful marinade, combine spices and seasonings of your choice. Popular options include garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, and chili powder. You can also add herbs like rosemary, thyme, or oregano for a more aromatic blend.
  • Allow the chicken wings to marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight, to allow the flavors to penetrate deeply.
  • To achieve crispy wings, it's important to use the right oil for frying. High-heat cooking oils like vegetable oil, canola oil, or peanut oil are ideal.
  • Maintain the proper oil temperature between 350°F and 375°F (175°C and 190°C) to ensure even cooking and prevent burning.
  • Avoid overcrowding the pot or fryer basket with chicken wings. This can cause the oil temperature to drop, resulting in soggy wings.
  • Cook the chicken wings in batches to ensure they cook evenly and don't steam.
  • Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the chicken wings. The safe internal temperature for fully cooked poultry is 165°F (74°C).
  • Once the chicken wings are cooked, drain them on paper towels to remove excess oil and serve immediately.
