Tips:

  • To ensure the bacon is crispy and cooked through, use thin-cut bacon and cook it until it is golden brown and slightly charred.
  • To prevent the oysters from shrinking and becoming tough, do not overcook them. Cook them just until the bacon is crispy and the oysters are cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • For a more flavorful filling, add a variety of seasonings to the cream cheese mixture, such as garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, or cayenne pepper.
  • If you don't have a deep fryer, you can also fry the oysters in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Just be sure to use a heavy-bottomed skillet and add enough oil to cover the oysters.
  • Serve the oysters immediately with your favorite dipping sauce, such as tartar sauce, cocktail sauce, or remoulade.
