1 9-inch unbaked pie crust
1/3 cup finely diced onion
3 tablespoons finely diced red and green bell peppers
1/2 cup diced mushrooms
2 tablespoons butter
3 large eggs
1 cup Daisy Brand Sour Cream
5 slices crisp bacon, crumbled
1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
1 cup shredded mild Cheddar cheese
1 dash salt & pepper

Steps:

  • 1.Poke holes on the inside of the pie crust with a fork.
  • 2.Line the inside of the pie crust with foil and bake at 450°F for 8 minutes.
  • 3.Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the crust is set and dry.
  • 4.Remove the crust and reduce the oven to 350°F.
  • 5.Saute the onions, peppers, and mushrooms in the butter until softened.
  • 6.Combine the vegetables with the remaining ingredients and pour the mixture into the pie crust.

2 tablespoons butter
1/3 cup onion, finely chopped
3 tablespoons red bell peppers, diced
3 large eggs, beaten
16 ounces sour cream, divided
5 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 1/2 cups swiss cheese, grated
1 cup mild cheddar cheese, grated
1 dash salt
1 dash pepper

Steps:

  • Line pie crust with foil and bake at 450°F for 8 minutes.
  • Remove foil and bake an additional 5 minutes until crust is set and dry.
  • Remove and reduce oven to 350°F.
