1 c self-rising flour
1 c milk
2 c fresh fruit
1/2 stick butter

Steps:

  • 1. Melt margarine in bottom of baking dish, add fruit, mix other ingredients and pour over fruit, bake a 350 for 30 minutes or until brown on top

This recipe may be done with 2 cups of any fresh fruit. You may double ingredients and bake in a 9" X 13" Glass pan. Original recipe has Sugar instead of Splenda... many in my family are diabetic or on weight watchers, Splenda instead of sugar works better for us. Great served with ice cream, or half and half on top.

PREPARE, DICE AND SET ASIDE
2/3 c sweet cherries, fresh, pitted and quarted
2/3 c strawberries, fresh diced
2/3 c blueberries, fresh whole
SPREAD AND MELT
1/2 stick butter (real butter a must)
MIX TOGETHER.
1 c splenda
1 c self-rising flour *(must be self-rising flour)
1 c milk

Steps:

  • 1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT.
  • 2. GREASE LARGE 9"-10" GLASS DEEP PIE PLATE WITH BUTTER
  • 3. PLACE REMAINING 1/2 STICK BUTTER, QUARTERED IN THE GLASS PIE PLATE.
  • 4. MELT BUTTER IN GLASS PIE PLATE IN A PREHEATED 350 DEGREE FAHRENHEIT OVEN.
  • 5. POUR FRUIT ON MELTED BUTTER.
  • 6. POUR MIXTURE OF THE SPLENDA, FLOUR AND MILK OVER FRUIT.
  • 7. BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR 30 MINUTES OR UNTIL DONE.
