  • Place the cucumbers and onions in a clean 1-quart jar with a tight-fitting lid. Add the garlic, if using. 2 cups sugar
2 cups 5% white vinegar

1/2 small red onion
2 tablespoons fresh picked dill sprigs
1 1/2 cups white vinegar
