Tips:

  • For the best results, use fresh, firm cucumbers. English cucumbers are a good choice because they have a mild flavor and few seeds.
  • Peel the cucumbers before slicing them. This will help to prevent the sandwiches from becoming watery.
  • Use a sharp knife to slice the cucumbers thinly. This will help to ensure that they are evenly cooked.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cucumber slices. This will help to prevent the sandwiches from becoming dry.
  • Top the cucumber slices with the smoked salmon or ham. You can also use other fillings, such as thinly sliced chicken or turkey.
  • Sprinkle the sandwiches with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve the sandwiches immediately or chill them for later.

Conclusion:

Cucumber and cream cheese tea sandwiches are a delicious and refreshing treat that are perfect for any occasion. They are easy to make and can be customized to your liking. With a few simple tips, you can make sure that your cucumber and cream cheese tea sandwiches are perfect every time.
