1 tablespoon red wine or cider vinegar
2 cans (16 oz. each) small new potatoes
2 cans whole kernel corn, drained
1 package mushroom gravy mix
1/4 cup water or broth
Salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the beef and onions quickly in hot oil. Transfer to the crockpot.

salt and pepper to taste
¼ cup all-purpose flour
⅓ cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon beef bouillon granules

Steps:

  • Season the cube steaks on both sides with salt and pepper. Pour the flour onto a shallow plate and press the steaks into the flour; shake off the excess flour. Heat the oil in a large skillet with lid over medium-high heat. Place the steaks into the hot oil, and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3 minutes per side.

1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 cube steaks, cut into strips
3 tablespoons shortening
1 teaspoon salt
4 potatoes, cut into chunks
1 large onion, thinly sliced
1 garlic clove, minced
1 (16 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1/2 green pepper, cut into strips
1 (10 ounce) package frozen peas

3 tablespoons canola oil
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) beef broth

6 cube steaks
1 tablespoon butter, divided
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, pressed
16 ounces beef broth
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 cups frozen peas
egg noodles

Steps:

  • Combine flour and salt and pepper to taste. Mix well. Dredge meat in flour on both sides.
  • In a skillet, heat half the butter and half the olive oil together over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic and saute. Add remaining oil and butter then add meat, cooking on both sides till browned.

1 medium onion, sliced
3/4 cup 50%-less-sodium beef broth
2 teaspoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, if desired
