These Cuba Libre Cupcakes are the perfect party treat! They're moist and fluffy, with a delicious rum and lime flavor. The whipped cream frosting is light and airy, and the lime zest adds a refreshing touch.
Tips:
- For the best flavor, use fresh lime juice and zest.
- If you don't have dark rum, you can use light rum instead. Just add a teaspoon of molasses to the batter to give it a darker color and richer flavor.
- Be careful not to overmix the batter. Overmixing can make the cupcakes tough.
- Fill the cupcake liners only about 2/3 full. This will help prevent the cupcakes from overflowing in the oven.
- Bake the cupcakes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cupcakes cool completely before frosting them.
- For a neater look, use a piping bag to frost the cupcakes.
Conclusion:
These Cuba Libre Cupcakes are a delicious and festive treat that are perfect for any occasion. They're easy to make and sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them. So next time you're looking for a special dessert, give these cupcakes a try!
