Tips:

  • Use natural peanut butter: Avoid peanut butter with added sugars or salt, as these can be harmful to dogs.
  • Choose the right flour: All-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, or oat flour can all be used in this recipe. If you are using whole wheat flour or oat flour, you may need to add a little extra liquid to the dough.
  • Don't overmix the dough: Overmixing the dough will make the cookies tough. Mix just until the ingredients are well combined.
  • Chill the dough before baking: Chilling the dough will help the cookies hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much in the oven.
  • Bake the cookies until they are golden brown: The cookies should be firm to the touch when they are done baking.

Conclusion:

These crunchy peanut butter dog cookies are a healthy and delicious treat that your furry friend will love. Made with just a few simple ingredients, these cookies are easy to make and can be customized to your dog's liking. Whether you add bacon, applesauce, or pumpkin, these cookies are sure to be a hit.
