I love some crunch in my yogurt in the morning and I created this granola of my own because it is quite expensive to buy. Plus I can control what goes in my granola. This is what I think through many tests, this is my best edition of granola.

4 c rolled oats
2 c kellogg's all bran cereal
2 c sliced almonds
2 c pumpkin seeds
2 c sweetened, shredded coconut
1 c vegetable oil
1 c honey
1/2 c cashews, unsalted
1 c dried cranberries
1 c golden raisins
1 c any other favorite dried fruit you choose

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • 2. Toss the oats, All Bran, coconut, pumpin seeds, and almonds together in a large bowl.
  • 3. Whisk together the oil and honey in a small bowl.
  • 4. Pour the liquids over the oat mixture and stir with a wooden spoon until all the oats and nuts are coated.
  • 5. Pour onto a 13 by 18 by 1-inch sheet pan or two 13 by 9 sheet pans
  • 6. Bake, turning mixture occasionally with a spatula, until the mixture turns a nice, even, golden brown, about 45 minutes.
  • 7. Remove from oven and allow granola to cool, turning mixture to promote cooling.
