Time 6h15m

Number Of Ingredients 7

3 lb pork tenderloin
1 can(s) diced italian tomatoes
1 can(s) sliced mushrooms
1 small sliced onion
1 can(s) cream of mushroom soup
1 pkg dry onion soup mix
2 Tbsp corn starch

Steps:

  • 1. Place pork tenderloin in your crockpot. (Mine was right out of the freezer) Start opening cans and pour into the crockpot over the tenderloin. Slice onion and put in crockpot, sprinkle onion soup mix over everything.
  • 2. Cook in Crockpot on low for about 3 hours. Turn to high for 3 more hours and stir ingredients a little around the tenderloin.
  • 3. When done, I took the tenderloin out and cut it into slices. I took 2 tbsp of cornstarch and added some gravy to it. Mix well and thicken to your liking. Put tenderloin back in and turn to warm. Prep mashed potatoes, Serve.

Tips:

  • Choose a tenderloin that is about 1 pound in weight for optimal results.
  • Sear the pork tenderloin in a pan over medium-high heat to develop a nice crust and lock in the juices.
  • Use a flavorful rub or marinade to enhance the taste of the tenderloin. Popular options include garlic, herbs, spices, and citrus.
  • Place the tenderloin in the slow cooker and add your desired liquid, such as broth, water, or apple juice.
  • Cook the tenderloin on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  • Let the tenderloin rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving. This allows the juices to redistribute, resulting in a more tender and flavorful meat.

Conclusion:

The Crockpot Pork Tenderloin is a simple yet delicious dish that is perfect for busy weeknights or casual gatherings. With its tender and juicy texture, this dish is sure to be a hit with family and friends. The versatility of the slow cooker allows you to create a variety of flavors and combinations, making it a great option for experimenting with different ingredients. Whether you prefer a classic garlic and herb rub or a more adventurous Asian-inspired marinade, the Crockpot Pork Tenderloin is a dish that will satisfy your taste buds and leave you craving for more.
