Tips:
- Use a variety of cheeses. This will give your mac and cheese a more complex flavor. Try using a combination of cheddar, Parmesan, and mozzarella.
- Cook the pasta al dente. This means that it should be cooked until it is just tender, but still has a slight bite to it. Overcooked pasta will become mushy in the crock pot.
- Don't overcook the sauce. The sauce should be thick and creamy, but not too thick. If it is too thick, it will be difficult to stir and will not evenly coat the pasta.
- Add the Lil' Smokies at the end of cooking. This will prevent them from becoming tough and overcooked.
- Serve the mac and cheese immediately. It is best when it is fresh out of the crock pot.
Conclusion:
Crock pot mac and cheese with Lil' Smokies is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a party or potluck. It is also a great way to use up leftover pasta and cheese. With a few simple tips, you can make the best crock pot mac and cheese with Lil' Smokies that your family and friends will love.
