1 1/2 pounds chicken breasts, boneless, skinless
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons dried onion
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons cornstarch dissolved in 3 tablespoons water
Sesame seeds

Steps:

  • Place chicken into crock pot. In a bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, onion, ketchup, oil, and garlic. Pour over chicken. Cook on low for 3 to 4 hours or on high 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours, or just until chicken is cooked through. Remove chicken from crock pot, leave sauce. Dissolve 2 teaspoons of cornstarch in 3 tablespoons of water and pour into crock pot. Stir to combine with sauce. Replace lid and cook sauce on high for ten more minutes or until slightly thickened. Cut chicken into bite size pieces and return to crock pot - can leave chicken in and simmer on low or serve. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve over rice.

6 skinless chicken drumsticks, with thighs attached skinless
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

Steps:

  • Place chicken crock pot.
  • In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and tomato sauce.
  • Pour sauce over chicken. Cover and cook on low for about 5 hours or until chicken is tender.
  • Remove to a plate and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • To Freeze: Cool, bag, label and freeze(package sesame seeds separate and add when reheating).
  • To Serve: Warm in microwave to desired temperature and top with the sesame seeds.

dash(es) salt and pepper
1 c honey
1/2 c soy sauce
1/2 c onion
1/4 c ketchup
2 Tbsp canola oil
2 clove garlic
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1 Tbsp sesame oil
4 Tbsp cornstarch dissolved in 6 tablespoons of water
dash(es) sesame seeds
dash(es) green onions

Steps:

  • 1. Season both sides of chicken lightly with salt and pepper, place flat into Crock Pot. Scatter onion over the top.
  • 2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, ketchup, oil, garlic, sesame oil and pepper flakes. Pour over chicken.
  • 3. Cook on low for 3-4 hours or on high 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 hours, or until chicken is cooked through and shreds easily.
  • 4. Remove chicken from crock pot, leave sauce.

I had seen one similar, but wasn't quit what I wanted so I tweaked & add & subtracted things to make it my own. My family ate it tonight & even my daughter that doesn't like when we order take out..Loved this

3 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs
2 Tbsp ketchup
1 c honey
1/2 c soy sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1 small onion
2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
3 Tbsp corn starch
1 can(s) baby corn
1/4 lb fresh snow peas
1 jar(s) sesame seeds
1 pkg ricke sticks (or any rice)

Steps:

  • 1. Place chicken & chopped onion in crock pot on low.
  • 2. Mix together in a med bowl, ketchup, honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, & extra virgin olive oil & mix (adjust honey, ketchup & soy to ur own taste) Pour over chicken. Cook 7 hrs
  • 3. Remove chicken & cut into bite size pieces (it should just fall apart) Leave sauce in crock pot.
  • 4. add corn starch to sauce & stir. Add chicken, sesame seeds, & baby corn & cook on high while making ur rice according to package (about 10~15 mins)
  • 5. Serve chicken over rice & sprinkle w/ additional sesame & add snow peas.(I also added chow mein noodles) Enjoy
