Steps:
- This recipe is so simple and easy and tastes so delicious. I use the cryovac Kansas City style pork rib slabs, but any style would work except boneless pork ribs. With those you would need some kind of rack in the bottom of your crock pot so they don't rest in the accumulation of fat and juices while cooking. Rub the rack of ribs with your favorite dry rub. If you don't have a favorite, you can make a quick dry rub with seasoned salt, pepper, paprika, chili powder, garlic powder and onion powder (or any combination of those). You can do a marinate over night, but I like the way the dry rubs taste. For easier clean up use a crock pot liner. Place the ribs in the crock standing on their side. No need to add any liquid. Cook on low for 8 or more hours, or on high for 5 hours. The ribs are done when you see them pulling away from the bone. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Remove the ribs carefully from the crockpot and place on a flat pan, meaty side up. Brush or pour on and spread BBQ sauce, as much or as little as you like. Cook in oven for 10-15 minutes, just long enough to carmelize the sugars in the sauce. Remove from oven, slice into servings. Serve with potato salad, ranch beans, pickles and onions. Yummy!

CROCK POT COCONUT SPICE COUNTRY PORK RIBS
I had some coconut milk left over from another recipe so I threw this together and it said "YES" to me so I'll post it and you can decide if it is a "yes" or "No" recipe for you. I suggest boneless ribs whole or sliced into 1/2" slices. I used dried Kaffir Lime leaves, Lemon Grass and Tamarind as that is all that is available here (most of the time). CROCK POT BBQ PORK BACK RIBS
I am not the greatest at cooking ribs on the grill unless I par boil them first. This recipe is always a hit and turns our wonderful, tender and delicious every time I make it.

Steps:
- 1. Combine all the ingredients for the all purpose seasoning, store in an airtight container and use as needed.
- 2. Cut the ribs in half and rub them all over with the all purpose seasoning. Place them in a ziploc bag and put in the fridge overnight. When ready to cook, place the ribs on their sides in the crock pot with the meaty side facing the outer part of the crock pot (I used a 4 quart crock pot for mine). Pour in any juice left in the ziploc bag. Pour 3/4 C. of BBQ sauce over the top of the ribs. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, spooning the sauce over the ribs every so often as they cook.
- 3. When you are ready to serve them, cover a baking sheet with tinfoil, turn the broiler on high and carefully remove the ribs to the baking sheet. Brush with a little more BBQ sauce and pop under the broiler to 2-3 minutes to add more color to the ribs. This is really optional, I do not always do it unless we have company coming for supper.
Tips:
- Choose the right cut of pork ribs. Baby back ribs are the most popular choice for crock pot cooking, as they are tender and flavorful. However, you can also use spare ribs or country-style ribs.
- Brown the ribs before cooking them in the crock pot. This will help to develop flavor and color.
- Use a flavorful liquid to cook the ribs in. This could be anything from water to broth to barbecue sauce.
- Add vegetables to the crock pot along with the ribs. This will help to create a more flavorful and nutritious meal.
- Cook the ribs on low heat for 6-8 hours, or until they are fall-off-the-bone tender.
- Serve the ribs with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, coleslaw, or baked beans.
Conclusion:
Crock pot pork ribs are a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for any occasion. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a flavorful and tender dish that will be sure to please everyone at your table. So next time you're looking for a hassle-free meal, give crock pot pork ribs a try.
