CROCK POT HOT FUDGE BROWNIE CAKE

Crock Pot Hot Fudge Brownie Cake image

I love hot fudge brownie sundae's. I use to eat them at the popular resturant at that time, Big Boys when I was a young teen and then we would go bowling. Now I feel really old. But it is one of my fondest memories and is still my favorite dessert. And don't I love being able to do this in the crockpot! Comes out warm... and top...

Time 2h45m

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 c brownie mix
1 egg
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
1/4 c water
1/3 c chocolate chips
topping *************************************
1/2 c brown sugar
2 Tbsp baking cocoa
3/4 c boiling water

Steps:

  • 1. Combine all bottom layer ingredients in bowl. Spread into greased 3 1/2 quart slow cooker. Mix together topping ingredients, completely dissolving cocoa and sugar in boiling water. Pour over batter. Cover and cook on high for 2 hours. Turn off slow cooker and allow to sit for 30 minutes. Spoon into bowls and serve with ice cream or whipped cream.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality chocolate: This will make a big difference in the flavor of your brownies. Look for a chocolate with a high cocoa content (70% or higher) and a rich, dark flavor.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing can make the brownies tough. Mix the batter just until the ingredients are combined, then stop.
  • Bake the brownies until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean: This will ensure that the brownies are cooked through but not overcooked.
  • Let the brownies cool completely before frosting them: This will help the frosting to set properly.
  • Store the brownies in an airtight container at room temperature: They will keep for up to 3 days.

Conclusion:

These crock pot hot fudge brownies are an easy and delicious dessert that is perfect for any occasion. They are rich, chocolatey, and fudgy, with a perfect balance of sweetness and saltiness. The hot fudge sauce is the perfect finishing touch, and it takes these brownies to the next level. Whether you are a seasoned baker or a beginner, you will love this recipe.
