2 teaspoons garlic powder

Steps:

  • Place the beef brisket into a slow cooker. In a medium bowl, mix together the chili sauce, onion soup mix, and garlic powder. Pour over the brisket. Cover, and cook on the Low setting for 8 to 10 hours. Slice the brisket against the grain, and pour the gravy over the slices.

Tips:

  • Choose the right cut of beef: Brisket is a tough cut of meat, so it benefits from long, slow cooking. Look for a brisket that is at least 3 pounds, and trim off any excess fat.
  • Brown the beef before cooking: Browning the beef in a skillet before adding it to the slow cooker helps to develop flavor and color.
  • Use a good quality beer: The beer you use in this recipe will contribute to the flavor of the finished dish, so choose a beer that you enjoy drinking. A dark beer, such as a porter or stout, will give the chili a richer flavor, while a lighter beer, such as a lager or pilsner, will produce a more mild flavor.
  • Don't overcook the brisket: Brisket is done cooking when it is fork-tender. Overcooking will make the meat tough and dry.
  • Serve the chili with your favorite toppings: Some popular toppings for chili include shredded cheese, sour cream, diced onions, and chopped cilantro.

Conclusion:

Crock-Pot Chili Beer Brisket of Beef is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a casual get-together or a special occasion. The combination of beef, beer, and chili spices creates a flavorful and satisfying dish that is sure to please everyone at the table. So next time you're looking for a hearty and comforting meal, give this recipe a try. You won't be disappointed!
