BACON CHEESY CHICKEN (CROCK POT)
I found this AMAZING recipe from the "crockpot lady" on her crockpot365 blogspot - also amazing. Anyway, this chicken is ridiculously easy and so versatile. It makes a mean sandwich, delicious wrap,is great served with french fries, or just straight up. You could also place it on a bed of lettuce for a great salad. The recipe helps keep they kitchen tidy and uses less energy by using a slow cooker! My whole family was "humming" when I made this and served it - it's a keeper!

Steps:
- Put the 2 tablespoons of olive oil into the bottom of your crock and spread it around. (If you are using thighs or fattier cuts of meat, this step is optional).
- Put the chicken in the crock on top of the oil.
- In a small bowl, combine the teriyaki sauce and the ranch dressing.
- Pour sauce over the top of the chicken. Add the shredded cheese and the crumbled bacon to the crock, getting between the chicken pieces, if you can.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4. The cooking time will depend on how thick your chicken pieces are, and if they are fresh or frozen.
Tips:
- Use boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs: This will make the chicken easier to shred and will help to prevent the dish from becoming too greasy.
- Cook the chicken on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours: This will ensure that the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Add the bacon and cheese during the last 30 minutes of cooking: This will prevent the bacon from becoming overcooked and the cheese from melting completely.
- Serve the chicken bacon and cheese over rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes: This will make a complete and satisfying meal.
Conclusion:
Crock-Pot Chicken Bacon and Cheese is an easy and delicious meal that is perfect for busy weeknights. With just a few simple ingredients, you can have a delicious and satisfying meal that the whole family will love. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy dinner idea, give this recipe a try.
