Time 9h15m

Yield 2 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 5

4 medium apples, peeled and sliced (about 2 cups)
1/4 cup honey
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter, melted
2 cups granola cereal

Steps:

  • Place apples in slow cooker and mix in remaining ingredients.
  • Cover and cook on low 7 to 9 hours (overnight) or on high 2 to 3 hours.
  • Serve with milk.

Tips:

  • Choose the right apples: Use firm, tart apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp. These apples hold their shape well and won't turn to mush when cooked.
  • Peel and slice the apples thinly: This will help them cook evenly.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing will make the cobbler tough.
  • Use a slow cooker liner: This will make cleanup a breeze.
  • Cook the cobbler on low for 6-8 hours: This will give the apples time to soften and the cobbler to set.
  • Let the cobbler cool slightly before serving: This will help it hold its shape.

Conclusion:

This Crock-Pot Breakfast Apple Cobbler is a delicious and easy way to start your day. It's perfect for busy mornings when you don't have time to make a complicated breakfast. Simply prep the cobbler the night before and let it cook while you sleep. In the morning, you'll wake up to a warm, comforting breakfast that the whole family will love.
