Tips:

  • To achieve the crispiest chicken, use a combination of flour, cornstarch, and bread crumbs for the coating. The flour helps the coating adhere to the chicken, while the cornstarch and bread crumbs create a crispy texture.
  • Make sure the chicken is completely coated in the egg wash before dredging it in the bread crumb mixture. This will help the coating stick and prevent the chicken from becoming soggy.
  • Use a shallow dish to fry the chicken. This will allow the chicken to cook evenly and prevent it from becoming overcooked.
  • Fry the chicken in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan. This will help the chicken cook evenly and prevent it from becoming soggy.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure that the chicken is cooked through before serving. The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165°F (74°C).
