AIR FRYER CRISPY ARTICHOKES

Air Fryer Crispy Artichokes image

The key to these crispy artichokes is to make sure they are split in half and fully patted dry. This prevents the inside of the artichokes from getting mushy and steamy. They are dipped in a lemony, garlic aioli that complements the lemon zest and oregano flavor in the crisp exterior of the artichokes.

Tips:

  • Choose the right artichoke hearts: Look for canned or jarred artichoke hearts that are whole and have a light green color. Avoid any that are brown or discolored.
  • Drain and rinse the artichoke hearts thoroughly: This will help to remove any excess oil or brine and ensure that the breading adheres properly.
  • Use a light hand when breading the artichoke hearts: Too much breading will make them heavy and greasy. Just a thin coating is all you need.
  • Fry the artichoke hearts in hot oil: This will help them to crisp up quickly and evenly. Be sure to adjust the heat as needed to prevent burning.
  • Serve the artichoke hearts hot: They are best enjoyed fresh out of the fryer, when they are crispy and flavorful.

Conclusion:

Crispy artichoke hearts are a delicious and versatile appetizer or snack. They are easy to make and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Whether you are serving them at a party or just enjoying them as a treat, these crispy artichoke hearts are sure to be a hit.
