Tips:
- Use quality ingredients: Opt for high-quality chocolate chips and unsalted butter to ensure the best flavor.
- Chill the dough: Refrigerating the dough for at least 30 minutes helps the cookies hold their shape and prevents spreading.
- Don't overmix the dough: Overmixing can result in tough cookies. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
- Bake the cookies at the right temperature: The ideal temperature for baking chocolate chip cookies is 375°F (190°C). This ensures they bake evenly without burning.
- Don't overbake the cookies: Keep a close eye on the cookies while they're baking. Overbaking can make them dry and crumbly.
- Let the cookies cool completely: Allow the cookies to cool completely on a wire rack before enjoying them. This helps them set and develop their full flavor.
