Tips:
- Prep the batter ahead of time: You can make the crepe batter up to 2 days in advance and store it in the refrigerator. This makes it easy to whip up a batch of crepes for breakfast or brunch on a busy morning.
- Use a good quality non-stick pan: This will help prevent the crepes from sticking and make them easier to flip.
- Heat the pan over medium heat: If the pan is too hot, the crepes will cook too quickly and brown too much. If the pan is too cool, the crepes will not cook evenly.
- Pour a thin layer of batter into the pan: The crepe should be about 1/8 inch thick.
- Cook the crepe for 1-2 minutes per side: The crepe is done when it is golden brown on both sides.
- Fill the crepes with your favorite fillings: Some popular fillings include strawberries, whipped cream, Nutella, and ice cream.
