WHITE SAUCE CRAB PASTA
This is a creation of my own that resulted from too much white sauce when I made another recipe from here. So, I played around with what I had in the house and came up with this tasty meal. It actually uses imitation crabmeat instead of real crab. It's very mild, so feel free to spice it up if you prefer.

Tips:
- Cook the pasta al dente: This means cooking it until it is tender but still has a slight bite to it. This will prevent the pasta from becoming mushy when you add the sauce.
- Use high-quality imitation crab: Imitation crab is made from a variety of ingredients, including fish, starch, and flavorings. Choose a brand that uses real crab meat and has a good flavor.
- Don't overcook the imitation crab: Imitation crab is very delicate and can easily become tough if it is overcooked. Cook it just until it is heated through.
- Use a good quality cream cheese: Cream cheese is the base of the sauce, so it is important to use a good quality brand. Choose a cream cheese that is smooth and creamy.
- Season the sauce to taste: The sauce should be seasoned to your liking. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to taste.
- Serve the pasta immediately: Creamy pasta is best served immediately after it is made. The sauce will thicken as it cools, so it is important to serve it while it is still hot and creamy.
Conclusion:
Creamy pasta with imitation crab is a quick and easy dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. It is also a great way to use up leftover imitation crab. The creamy sauce is rich and flavorful, and the imitation crab adds a nice texture and flavor to the dish. This pasta dish is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
