Steps:
- 1. In a pot, bring the olive oil to medium-low heat. Add the garlic and stir, allowing it to cook for 1-2 minutes. Mix in the butter until melted. Add the salt, pepper and chicken stock. Raise the heat to high and let it come to a boil.
- 2. Once it is at a rolling boil, add the pasta and cook for as long as the box's directions say. You want it aldente'. I always do the shorter time. Reduce the stove to medium heat and mix in the parmesan until completely melted. Turn off the heat and stir in the cream and parsley. Sprinkle with some parmesan and serve immediately. ( I heat the cream a little in the micro before adding, but do not boil)
- 3. You can add so many foods to this. I just like it plain and simple as always.

Tips:
- Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Pre-grated Parmesan cheese can have a bitter taste and won't melt as smoothly as freshly grated cheese. Grate your own Parmesan cheese from a block just before using it for the best flavor and texture.
- Don't overcook the pasta. Cook the pasta according to the package directions, or until it is al dente. Overcooked pasta will be mushy and won't hold the sauce as well.
- Reserve some of the pasta cooking water. The starchy pasta cooking water helps to thicken the sauce and make it creamy. Reserve about 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water before draining the pasta.
- Add the Parmesan cheese gradually. Stir in the Parmesan cheese a little at a time, until the sauce reaches the desired consistency. Adding too much Parmesan cheese can make the sauce thick and clumpy.
- Serve immediately. Creamy Parmesan pasta is best served immediately, while it is still hot and creamy. If you need to make it ahead of time, you can reheat it gently over low heat, or in the microwave.
Conclusion:
This creamy Parmesan pasta is a quick and easy weeknight meal that is sure to please the whole family. It is made with just a few simple ingredients, and it comes together in under 30 minutes. The pasta is cooked in a creamy Parmesan sauce that is rich, flavorful, and cheesy. This dish is perfect for a casual dinner party, or for a quick and easy meal on a busy weeknight.
