CREAMY LIME COCONUT BARS

Creamy Lime Coconut Bars image

This recipe came from Land O Lakes butter. I had to try them once just to see if they were as good as they sound, and believe me, they didn't last in my house past two days. I ate a big hunk every time I got hungry. Yes, I know, fully sugared, but everyone deserves a treat!

Tips:

- For the perfect creamy texture, make sure the butter is softened to room temperature before creaming it with the sugar. - Use a zester to get the zest from the limes. This will give you a more intense lime flavor. - If you don't have a zester, you can use a microplane grater. - Once the bars are baked, let them cool completely before cutting them into bars. This will help them hold their shape. - For a fun variation, try adding a layer of whipped cream or fruit preserves on top of the bars before serving.

Conclusion:

These creamy lime bars are the perfect treat for any occasion. They're easy to make, delicious, and sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them. So next time you're looking for a special dessert, give these bars a try. You won't be disappointed!
