  • 2. NOTE: THIS RECIPE CAN BE DOUBLED EASILY BUT...YOU WILL NEED AN EXTRA, EXTRA LARGE BOWL...IT WILL MAKE TWO PIES OR **YOU CAN MAKE IT IN A 9X13X2" CAKE PAN AND CUT INTO SQUARES FOR A BIG FAMILY GET TOGETHER. (SPRAY PAN FIRST WITH A NONSTICK COOKING SPRAY FIRST). I THINK I'LL MAKE IT FOR OUR FAMILY LABOR DAY CELEBRATION.

Tips:

  • Use fresh lemons for the best flavor. If you don't have fresh lemons, you can use bottled lemon juice, but the flavor will be less intense.
  • Make sure the butter is cold before you add it to the crust. This will help the crust stay flaky.
  • Don't overmix the crust. If you overmix it, the crust will be tough.
  • Bake the crust until it is golden brown. This will help it hold its shape when you add the filling.
  • Let the pie cool completely before you serve it. This will help the filling set and the flavors to develop.

Conclusion:

This creamy lemonade pie is a delicious and refreshing dessert that is perfect for any occasion. It's easy to make and can be made ahead of time. The creamy filling is perfectly balanced by the tart lemon flavor. This pie is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
