This is a fantastic side dish and easy to make multiple batches. Be sure to mix well. Allow to thaw well before reheating in microwave. Could easily add chicken or ham and peas to this for a main meal. Very hard not to eat out of the bowl when making! From 30 Day Gourmet.

Time 20m

1/2 c parmesan cheese, grated
1 c half and half
1 .7-oz pkg italian salad dressing mix
salt and pepper
1/2 c butter, softened

Steps:

  • 1. Cook the noodles 1/2 the time directed on the package. Drain. In large bowl mix noodles and butter to coat.
  • 2. Add half and half, cheese and dressing mix. Stir well.
  • 3. Cool and freeze in plastic bags.

Tips for Making Creamy Italian Noodles:

  • Use high-quality ingredients: Fresh vegetables, creamy cheese, and flavorful spices will make all the difference in the taste of your dish.
  • Cook the pasta al dente: This means cooking it until it is tender but still has a slight bite to it. Overcooked pasta will be mushy and bland.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: When cooking the pasta, make sure to use a large pot so that the noodles have plenty of room to move around. Overcrowding the pan will prevent the pasta from cooking evenly.
  • Add the sauce to the pasta, not the other way around: This will help to evenly coat the noodles with the sauce and prevent them from clumping together.
  • Don't overcook the sauce: The sauce should be heated through but not boiling. Overcooking the sauce will make it thick and gloopy.
  • Serve the pasta immediately: Creamy Italian noodles are best enjoyed fresh out of the pan. If you need to make the dish ahead of time, you can store it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. When you're ready to serve, reheat the pasta over low heat until warmed through.

Conclusion:

Creamy Italian noodles are a delicious and versatile dish that can be enjoyed for lunch, dinner, or even as a side dish. With a few simple tips, you can easily make this dish at home. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy meal, give this recipe a try. You won't be disappointed!
