3 pounds Yukon gold potatoes, peeled and cut into 2-inch chunks
Coarse salt
3 tablespoons unsalted butter

Steps:

  • Heat the cream and horseradish in a small saucepan over medium heat until just simmering. Remove from heat.
  • Cover potatoes with cold water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil; add salt. Cook until tender, about 8 minutes; drain.

6 large yukon gold potatoes
1/2 c sour cream
1/2 c whipped cream cheese
1 Tbsp prepared horseradish
1/2 stick butter
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • 1. Peel and cook potatoes in salted boiling water until tender.
  • 2. Mix together sour cream, cream cheese and horseradish.
  • 3. Press potatoes through a food ricer and then add horseradish mixture with butter use just enough sauce to make potatoes smooth. Salt and Pepper to taste
