1 package (32 oz.) frozen cubed hash brown potatoes, thawed
1 lb. Velveeta, cubed
2 cups sour cream
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
3/4 cup butter, melted, divided
3 tablespoons chopped onion
1/4 teaspoon paprika
2 cups cornflakes, lightly crushed
Fresh savory, optional

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the hash browns, cheese, sour cream, soup, 1/2 cup butter and onion. Spread into a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Sprinkle with paprika. Combine cornflakes and remaining butter; sprinkle on top. Bake, covered, at 350° until heated through, 40-50 minutes. Uncover, bake until top is golden brown, 10 minutes longer. If desired, garnish with savory. Freeze option: Cover and freeze unbaked casserole. To use, partially thaw in refrigerator overnight. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Preheat oven to 350°. Bake casserole as directed, increasing time as necessary to heat through and for a thermometer inserted in center to read 165°.

2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1 (2 lb) package frozen hash brown potatoes
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the soup, sour cream and garlic salt. Add potatoes, onions and cheddar cheese. Mix well.
  • Pour into a greased 13x9x2" baking dish. Top with the Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake uncovered at 350 for 60 minutes or until potatoes are tender and cheese is melted.

6 pork chops, boneless
24 oz package of hash browns
1 can(s) cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c sour cream
1/2 c milk
salt and pepper to taste
1 c cheddar cheese
1 can(s) onion rings

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Brown pork chops.
  • 2. Combine soup, milk, sour cream and pepper. Stir in potatoes, 1/2 cup cheese and 1/2 cup onion rings. Spoon into casserole dish and top with pork chops.
  • 3. Bake at 350, covered for 40 minutes. Top with rest of onion rings and cheese, bake, uncovered for 5 minutes.
