Tips:
- Choose high-quality ground beef: Opt for lean ground beef (80/20) to ensure a flavorful and juicy casserole. For a richer flavor, you can use a combination of ground beef and ground pork or sausage.
- Use a variety of vegetables: Don't be afraid to experiment with different vegetables in your casserole. Some popular options include carrots, celery, onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, and corn. You can also add frozen or canned vegetables for convenience.
- Season generously: Don't skimp on the seasonings! A good rule of thumb is to use 1 tablespoon of seasonings for every pound of ground beef. Some essential seasonings include salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and chili powder.
- Use a creamy soup base: Cream of mushroom soup is a classic choice for ground beef casserole, but you can also use cream of celery, cream of chicken, or even cream of broccoli soup. For a richer flavor, try using a combination of two or more soups.
- Add some cheese: Cheese is a great way to add flavor and richness to your casserole. Cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese are all popular choices. You can also use a combination of different cheeses.
- Don't overcook the casserole: Ground beef casserole is best when it is cooked until the beef is cooked through and the vegetables are tender, but not mushy. Overcooking will make the casserole dry and tough.

Creamy ground beef casserole is a delicious and versatile dish that can be customized to your liking.
