1/2 cup wild rice, uncooked
1/4 cup onion, chopped (fresh or frozen is fine)
2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans condensed cream of potato soup
1 (14 ounce) can chicken broth
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
2 cups frozen sliced carrots
1 cup half-and-half

Steps:

  • Place chicken in 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker. In large bowl, mix wild rice, onions, soup, broth and carrots; pour over chicken.
  • Cover; cook on Low heat setting 7 to 8 hours.
  • Stir in half-and-half. Increase heat setting to High.

12 chicken tenders
2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans cream of mushroom soup
2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans water
2 (1 1/4 ounce) packages onion soup mix
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cups long grain brown rice
1 tablespoon whole thyme, crushed
salt and pepper
broccoli floret (optional)

Steps:

  • Heat olive oil in a pan, and add rice until it begins to crackle, but not brown. This makes the rice dense, and helps it keep its shape while cooking.
  • Whisk together the soups, water, and seasonings.

6 medium boneless skinless chicken breast
1 pkg ranch style dressing mix
1 - 8 oz cream cheese
1 stick real butter
1 can(s) cream of chicken soup
pinch salt & pepper

Steps:

  • 1. Sprinkle clean chicken breast with ranch dry mix salad dressing and place in crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
  • 2. In a saucepan combine 1 can cream of chicken soup, butter, and cream cheese. Add a dash of salt & pepper and stir continuously while combining ingredients. This should become very creamy & easy to pour.
  • 3. Drain any juices from the cooked chicken and pour creamy mixture over chicken. (I like to cut my chicken into bite sized pieces, but you can serve them whole.) Cover with lid and let cook on low for at least 30 minutes. (I prefer 45 mins.)
  • 4. Serve creamy chicken over rice, noodles or mashed potatoes. It is a rich creamy dish that is easy to impress!! Just add a fresh salad or favorite veggie, roll and you are set!
