CRAB CHEESE FONDUE
This is a creamy, delicious fondue! It is a hit whenever I make it. Guests get so excited to get a big piece of crab and much noise is made when it slips and falls back into the pot! Someone always ends up with a spoon scraping the pot for one last taste! Serve with French bread cubes, using a fondue fork to spear bread and swirl in fondue to coat. Try dipping grapes, carrot slices, or rye bread, whatever you like. I usually serve this fondue with a light salad.

Gradually add the rest of the ingredients, except for the items you wish to use for dippers. Once all the ingredients are melted and well mixed, transfer the mixture into your cheese fondue pot.
- 2. Light the fondue burner and adjust the heat to maintain the cheese fondue warm but not too hot. Arrange a tray with fondue skewers and items for dipping.

Tips for Making Creamy Cheese Fondue:
- Use high-quality cheese: The type of cheese you use will have a big impact on the flavor of your fondue. For the best results, use a combination of hard and soft cheeses that melt well, such as Gruyère, Emmental, and Brie.
- Grate the cheese yourself: Pre-shredded cheese contains additives that can prevent it from melting smoothly. For the best results, grate the cheese yourself just before using it.
- Use a heavy-bottomed pot: A heavy-bottomed pot will help to distribute the heat evenly and prevent the cheese from scorching.
- Cook the fondue over low heat: Fondue is a delicate dish, so it's important to cook it over low heat. This will help to prevent the cheese from curdling or separating.
- Stir the fondue constantly: Stirring the fondue constantly will help to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pot and burning.
- Add a splash of white wine or lemon juice: Adding a splash of white wine or lemon juice can help to balance out the richness of the cheese and add a bit of acidity.
- Serve the fondue with a variety of dipping options: Fondue is traditionally served with bread cubes, but you can also serve it with vegetables, fruits, or even meat.
