Tips:

  • Use fresh spinach: Fresh spinach has a more vibrant flavor and texture than frozen spinach. If you're using frozen spinach, be sure to thaw it completely and squeeze out any excess water.
  • Don't overcook the spinach: Overcooked spinach will become mushy and lose its flavor. Cook it just until it wilts, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Use a good quality cream: The cream is one of the main ingredients in this dish, so it's important to use a good quality cream. Look for a cream that is at least 35% fat.
  • Season the dish to taste: The amount of salt, pepper, and nutmeg you add will depend on your personal preferences. Taste the dish as you go and adjust the seasoning as needed.
  • Serve the dish immediately: This dish is best served immediately after it is made. The spinach will start to lose its flavor and texture if it sits for too long.

Conclusion:

Creamy baked spinach is a delicious and easy-to-make side dish that is perfect for any occasion. It is a great way to get your daily dose of vegetables, and it is also a good source of vitamins and minerals.
