Tips:

  • Use cold butter. This will help the streusel topping stay crumbly and prevent it from melting into the batter.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing will make the bars tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Bake the bars until they are just set. Overbaking will make them dry. A toothpick inserted into the center of the bars should come out with just a few moist crumbs attached.
  • Let the bars cool completely before cutting them. This will help them hold their shape.
  • Store the bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or in the freezer for up to 2 months.

Conclusion:

Cream cheese streusel bars are a delicious and easy-to-make dessert. They are perfect for any occasion, from casual gatherings to special events.
