1 pound ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
3 cups water
1 can (12 ounces) tomato paste
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 to 1 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 package (8 ounces) lasagna noodles
8 ounces sliced Swiss cheese
1-1/2 cups 4% cottage cheese
1/2 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, cook the beef, onion and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the water, tomato paste, salt, rosemary and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes. , Meanwhile, cook lasagna noodles according to package directions; drain. In a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish, layer a third of the meat sauce, noodles and Swiss cheese. Repeat layers. Top with cottage cheese and the remaining Swiss cheese, noodles and sauce. 1 lb bulk Italian sausage
1 medium onion, finely chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can Italian-style diced tomatoes, undrained
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
9 no-cook lasagna noodles
12 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese, divided
2 cups shredded parmesan cheese
2 cups shredded swiss cheese

Steps:

  • In a Dutch oven over medium heat, cook the beef, sausage and onion until meat is no longer pink. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Drain. 1 medium onion, coarsely chopped (about 2 cups)
1 pound Swiss chard, stems and leaves separated, thinly sliced
Coarse salt
4 cloves garlic, minced (about 2 tablespoons)
1/2 teaspoon red-pepper flakes
1 can (28 ounces) whole peeled plum tomatoes with juices
8 no-boil lasagna noodles (9 ounces)
1 pound whole-milk mozzarella, shredded (about 4 cups)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 2 tablespoons oil, onion, and chard stems. Cook, stirring occasionally, until soft, about 4 minutes. Stir in chard leaves, season with salt, and cook until tender, about 2 minutes. Transfer to a plate. Wipe skillet; return to medium-high heat.
