- 1. Layer in order, the first 5 ingredients into a clean and sterilized mason jar. Secure with a sterilized lid. Decorate with a beautiful ribbon. Tape the following directions to the side of the jar.
- 2. To bake: In a large bowl, use the contents of jar, with the last four ingredients. Mix together using a wire whisk. Making sure all ingredients are completely mixed together. grease and floured 9x9 cake pan . Bake in a 350 for 35 minutes. When cool sprinkle powdered sugar on top. This cake is so good and moist frosting is not needed. Note: Some people call it a Depression Cake..because of no eggs.

- Center fabric circle over lid and secure with a rubber band.
- Tie on a raffia or ribbon bow to cover the rubber band.
- Attach a card with the following directions: Crazy Cake 3/4 cup Vegetable Oil, 2 tsp Vinegar, 1 tsp Vanilla and 2 cups Water.
- Stir cake ingredients together using a wire whisk or fork, making certain that all ingredients are completely mixed together.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 35 minutes.
- Frost as desired or serve sprinkled with powdered sugar, with fresh fruit on the side.
