  • 6. Place in freezer until solid, overnight is best. After frozen, cover with plastic wrap, then foil. I serve with a dollop of whipped cream and some sprinkles of crushed pecans... Note: Pictures shown are of them freshly made, ready to put into the freezer.

Tips:

  • Use fresh or frozen cranberries. Fresh cranberries are available in the fall and winter, while frozen cranberries are available year-round. If using frozen cranberries, thaw them before using.
  • Choose a ripe pineapple. A ripe pineapple will be golden yellow in color and have a sweet, fragrant smell. Avoid pineapples that are green or have brown spots.
  • Use a food processor to chop the pineapple and cranberries. This will make it easier to mix them with the other ingredients.
  • Add sugar to taste. The amount of sugar you add will depend on your personal preference. If you like your salad tart, add less sugar. If you like it sweet, add more sugar.
  • Chill the salad before serving. This will help it to set and make it more refreshing.

Conclusion:

Cranberry pineapple frozen salad is a delicious and refreshing dessert that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be made ahead of time. This salad is also a good source of vitamin C and fiber. So next time you are looking for a healthy and delicious dessert, give this cranberry pineapple frozen salad a try.
