CHICKEN WINGS WITH JALAPENO PEPPER SAUCE

Chicken Wings With Jalapeno Pepper Sauce image

This one is a bit spicy. The wings are baked, and not fried and then tossed in sauce, making them a bit lighter than some wings. I love this while watching a good ball game. Serving size is for 8 appetizer sized servings....if using for a main dish, use your judgement!

  • To ensure the best flavor, use fresh cranberries. Frozen cranberries can also be used, but they should be thawed and drained before using.
  • To make the sauce spicier, add more jalapeños. For a milder sauce, remove the seeds from the jalapeños before chopping them.
  • If you don't have cilantro, you can substitute parsley.
  • For a crispy coating on the chicken wings, make sure to double-coat them in the flour mixture.
  • To get the chicken wings extra crispy, bake them for an additional 5-10 minutes.
  • Serve the chicken wings with the cranberry jalapeño dipping sauce for a delicious and unique appetizer or main course.

Conclusion:

This cranberry jalapeño dipping sauce is the perfect accompaniment to crispy chicken wings. The sauce is sweet, spicy, and tangy, with a hint of heat from the jalapeños. The chicken wings are crispy and flavorful, and they pair perfectly with the sauce. This recipe is easy to make and is sure to be a hit at your next party or gathering.
