Time 10m

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 can(s) (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1/4 c lemon juice
1 can(s) (1 pound) whole cranberry sauce
1 pkg (12 oz) frozen whopped topping, thawed
2 8" graham cracker crusts or regular baked crusts

Steps:

  • 1. Mix condensed milk and lemon juice in bowl. Add cranberry sauce and mix well. Add whipped topping and mix again. Divide between 2 crusts. Refrigerate several hours or overnight.

Tips:

  • Use fresh cranberries for the best flavor. Frozen cranberries can work in a pinch, but they will not have the same tartness and sweetness as fresh cranberries.
  • Be sure to rinse the cranberries well before using them. This will remove any dirt or debris.
  • Don't overcook the cranberries. They should be cooked until they are just soft, but not mushy.
  • Let the cranberry mixture cool completely before adding it to the other ingredients. This will help to prevent the ice box dessert from becoming too runny.
  • Use a high-quality vanilla extract for the best flavor. A good vanilla extract will add a rich, creamy flavor to the ice box dessert.
  • Don't skimp on the whipped cream. A generous dollop of whipped cream will make the ice box dessert even more delicious.
  • Serve the ice box dessert immediately after it has been made. This will prevent it from melting.

Conclusion:

Cranberry ice box dessert is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that is perfect for any occasion. It is made with fresh cranberries, sugar, vanilla extract, and whipped cream. It is a refreshing and tart dessert that is sure to please everyone.
